Oia village is the most famous village in all of Santorini. Oia features beautiful architectural scenery as well as spectacular sunsets. Located in the north of the island on top of a cliff, Oia features uninterrupted views of the volcano Palia.
Fira is located near the north of the island and features one of the most popular tourist activities in Santorini. The cable car rides travel between the city of Fira and the port below. The ride takes about three minutes and offers some of the most spectacular views of the sea and the bay.
Santorini-produced wine is one of the island's treasures. Wineries in Santorini welcome visitors and often allow them to sample the products. One of the most popular wineries in Santorini is Volcan Wines Museum and Winery in Vothonas, though there are many available to visit.
