Two gourmet chefs greet the family and take them on a tour of a typical Parisian bakers' kitchen, explaining and demonstrating special tools and a passion for food that is common in Paris. The parents and children are then taken step by step through creating a traditional "petits gateaux" (mini cakes, biscuits or cookies), or fruit tarts depending on the season.
