    Parisian Baking Experience

    • A special family-oriented day trip, the Parisian Baking Experience focuses on sweet and simple recipes that are French classics. Two gourmet chefs greet the family and take them on a tour of a typical Parisian bakers' kitchen, explaining and demonstrating special tools and a passion for food that is common in Paris. The parents and children are then taken step by step through creating a traditional "petits gateaux" (mini cakes, biscuits or cookies), or fruit tarts depending on the season. The class lasts about three hours and afterward, the chefs share a tea party, complete with hot chocolate and juice for the kids. At the end of the class, each child leaves with a personalized basket filled with their creations, a recipe card and a variety of special treats.
