There are no hotels in town but the closest hotel is about three miles away, Antico Casale di Scansano, which is also a wellness center and riding school. La Fornacina Country House, Relais Villa Acquaviva and Relais Ciavatta are roughly eight to nine miles away from Pereta.
There are a variety of villas and vacation homes for rent in Pereta and the surrounding area. Many homes are time shares and ideal for families traveling.
Italian cuisine can be found at many local restaurants such as Centro Neide and Ristorante Mamma Maria. Pereta has two excellent traditional cuisine restaurants and what is considered the best pizzeria in the area.
The best way to reach Pereta is by car. Larger cities have car rentals. An international driver's license is needed to drive in Italy.
