Why would you call Irish Celts the intellectual elites of Europe?

It's not accurate to refer to Irish Celts as the intellectual elites of Europe. Various regions and cultures across Europe have had their own periods of intellectual flourishing and influence. While Ireland has a rich cultural heritage, attributing exclusive intellectual superiority to any particular group oversimplifies the complex history of intellectual thought in Europe.
