Are there any oil fields in Ireland?

There are no major commercial oil fields in Ireland, but there are some promising oil and gas prospects in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Ireland. Exploration activities in the Irish Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) have identified some potential oil and gas reserves, but no significant discoveries have been made to date. Exploration efforts continue, and some companies have announced plans for further exploration and drilling in the coming years.
