How long does it take to drive Lake Tahoe?

It depends on which route you take, but driving around the entire lake is about 72 miles and takes about 2 hours without traffic. There are several scenic stops along the way, so you can easily spend a whole day or more driving around the lake. For instance, Emerald Bay State Park and Sand Harbor State Park, as well as numerous hiking trails and lookout points.
