County Tipperary is a county in the province of Munster, Ireland. It is the sixth largest county in Ireland by land area, with a population of fewer than 160,000. Tipperary is one of three counties that are bisected by the River Suir. The county touches nine other counties: Laois, Kilkenny and Carlow to the east; Limerick and Cork to the south; Waterford, Clare, and Offaly to the west.
