Where is Galway Bay?

Galway Bay, Irish Cuan na Gaillimhe, a wide inlet of the Atlantic Ocean on the west coast of the island of Ireland. With an average width of some 30 miles (48 km), the broad funnel-shaped bay opens north into the Atlantic near the Aran Islands (Inishmore).
