What percentage of Turkey is desert?
Turkey is not a desert country. It is a transcontinental country in Eurasia, with a small part in Southeastern Europe and the larger portion in Western Asia. Turkey has a diverse climate, with temperate and Mediterranean climates along the coast and a continental climate in the interior. While there are some semi-arid regions in Turkey, such as the steppes of Anatolia, they do not constitute a significant portion of the country's total area. Therefore, the percentage of Turkey that is desert is negligible.
