The Italian mafia has presence in London. The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) has stated that there are at least four main Italian Organized Crime Groups (IOCGs) with bases in London. These groups are estimated to have around 150 members, and are primarily involved in drug trafficking and money laundering.
