The Continental Divide does not run through Guatemala. The Continental Divide in North America is the hydrological divide separating watersheds that flow into the Pacific Ocean from those that flow into the Atlantic Ocean. It runs along the Rocky Mountains in the United States and Canada. Guatemala is located in Central America, far from the Continental Divide.
