There is no neighborhood called "the Argentine" in Kansas City, Missouri. However, Argentine is a historic neighborhood in Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County), just across the state line.

Originally a silver-smelting town (named for Argentine, Mexico), it was annexed by KCK in 1910. It retains a distinct identity with Argentine Middle School, Argentine Library, and community organizations.
