Who founded La havana and when?

The city of Havana, also known as La Habana, was founded by Spanish Conquistadors on November 16, 1519. Panfilo de Narvaez, a Spanish explorer and conquistador, is considered the founder of Havana. He established the first permanent European settlement in the area, known as San Cristobal de La Habana, which later became Havana.
