Why do Mexicans have slanted eyes?

It's incorrect to assume or generalize that all Mexicans have slanted eyes. Mexico is a diverse country with people of different backgrounds and ethnicities. Mexicans can have diverse physical features just like any other population, and physical traits like eye shape vary among individuals.
