What is didgiredo?

A didgeridoo (also spelled didjeridu) is a wind instrument that has been played by Indigenous Australians for thousands of years. It is a long, wooden pipe that is blown into from one end, and produces a low, resonant sound. Didgeridoos are traditionally made from eucalyptus wood, but can also be made from other materials such as bamboo, PVC pipe, or even metal.

Didgeridoos are played by vibrating the lips against the mouthpiece of the instrument, and by controlling the airflow and breath. The sound produced by a didgeridoo is very distinctive and can be used for a variety of purposes, including ceremonial music, dance, and storytelling.

Didgeridoos are also said to have a number of therapeutic benefits, including improving respiratory function, reducing stress, and promoting relaxation.
