What is mission San Carlos borromeo Del Rio Carmelo made out of?

The mission is mostly constructed of locally quarried sandstone, with some adobe brick. The exterior walls are made of sandstone blocks that are approximately 18 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 6 inches thick. The blocks were cut and shaped by hand, and then laid in a mortar made of sand, lime, and water.
