What region did the Cahuilla live in?

The Cahuilla are an indigenous people of California, in the present-day United States. Their traditional territory was in the Coachella Valley, surrounded by the San Jacinto Mountains to the west, the San Bernardino Mountains to the north and east, and the Salton Sea to the south. The Cahuilla's territory included present-day Riverside and Imperial counties in California.
