Where is Castile located?

Castile is a historical region of Spain. It is located in the north-central part of the Iberian Peninsula, and it is bordered by the regions of Asturias, Cantabria, Aragon, Valencia, Murcia, Andalucia, Extremadura, and Madrid. Castile is divided into two regions: Old Castile, in the north, and New Castile, in the south. Old Castile includes the provinces of Burgos, Palencia, Valladolid, Segovia, Soria, and Avila. New Castile includes the provinces of Toledo, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara, and Madrid.
