How many volcanoes are in El Salvador?

El Salvador lies on the Central American Volcanic Arc and has over 20 volcanoes spread all around the territory. Only two volcanoes are still active which makes the entire region vulnerable to earthquakes and ash eruptions that impact large areas and populations nearby the volcanic chains of mountains.
