Do most rivers in Spain flow toward the west?

Most rivers in Spain do not flow towards the west. In fact, most rivers in Spain flow towards the south and southeast, due to the topography of the Iberian Peninsula. The majority of the country's major rivers, including the Ebro, the Duero, the Tajo, and the Guadiana, flow in this direction. Additionally, many of the smaller rivers in Spain also flow towards the south or southeast, eventually draining into the Mediterranean Sea or the Atlantic Ocean.
