Where did Aztecs move after they left central Mexico and why?

After they left central Mexico, the main branch of the Aztecs moved to Chapultepec, west of Tenochtitlan. Some of their warriors went northward to conquer parts of what is now Nuevo Leon and Coahuila. These warriors later allied themselves with the nomadic Chichimecas against other Central Mexican cultures, such as the Tarascans. Later, the Aztecs moved to Tula, and finally settled at Tenochtitlan.

The Aztecs were a nomadic tribe who originated from Aztlan, a mythical place in the north. They migrated south in search of a new homeland and eventually settled in the Valley of Mexico, where they founded the city of Tenochtitlan in 1325.

The Aztecs were a powerful and advanced civilization, and they quickly became the dominant force in Mesoamerica. They built a vast empire that stretched from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Ocean. However, the Aztec Empire was also very oppressive, and it was eventually overthrown by the Spanish conquistadors in 1521.
