Can you take shelled pecans to Mexico?

According to Mexican customs regulations, the importation of shelled pecans into Mexico is prohibited. This prohibition applies to all varieties of pecans, including those that are still in their shells. Pecans that have been roasted, salted, or otherwise processed are also not permitted to be imported into Mexico.
