DID Oregon became a part of the US as result Mexican War (1846-1848)?

Oregon did not become a part of the United States as a result of the Mexican War. The Oregon Territory, which included present-day Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and parts of Montana and Wyoming, was acquired by the United States from Great Britain through the Oregon Treaty of 1846.
