Dial the country code. Each country has a two-digit code for dialing. The code to call someone in Mexico is 52.
If applicable, dial the cell phone code. When you call someone on a mobile phone in Mexico, make sure to dial 1 directly after the country code.
Enter the area code. Depending on the place you're calling, the area code will be either a two- or three-digit number. For example, the area code for Mexico City is 55; the area code for Puebla is 222.
Dial the phone number. This is the last step and depending on the area you are calling, it will be a seven- or eight-digit telephone number. As an example, the entire number should look like this: 011-52-222-1234567.
