How many landfills are there in Mexico City?

Mexico City has one landfill, Bordo Poniente, which is located in the Azcapotzalco borough. It is the largest landfill in Latin America and the second largest in the world. The landfill receives approximately 12,000 tons of waste per day and is expected to reach its capacity by 2025.
