Are the great basin tribes nomadic?

The Great Basin tribes are often referred to as semi-nomadic, not exclusively nomadic. Their way of life combined both sedentary periods of occupation with shorter periods of movement. While hunting and gathering resources required them to travel across the vast territory, they also had more permanent settlements where they spent substantial time.
