Where is Salinas?

Salinas is a coastal city in Monterey County, California, United States. It is located approximately 100 miles (160 km) south of San Francisco and 20 miles (32 km) south of Monterey. The city has a population of around 160,000 people and is known for its agriculture, notably the production of lettuce and other leafy greens. Salinas also serves as the county seat of Monterey County and is home to several educational institutions and cultural attractions.
