New Square, NY: Orthodox Jewish Community in Hudson Valley

New Square (often called New Square York) is a town in Rockland County, Hudson Valley, ~55 miles north of NYC. It is known for its large Orthodox Jewish (Skverer Hasidic) community, with numerous synagogues, yeshivas, and kosher markets. Part of the Poughkeepsie–New Paltz–Kingston metro area.
