Where is langkawi island?

Langkawi is an archipelago of 99 islands off the northwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia in the Andaman Sea, a part of the Straits of Malacca. These islands constitute part of the state of Kedah. As with the rest of Kedah, the official religion is Islam.
