Nepal’s National Poet: Laxmi Prasad Devkota, the ‘Mahākavi’

Laxmi Prasad Devkota (1909‑1959) is honored as Nepal’s national poet and often called Mahākavi (“great poet”). He modernized Nepali poetry and remains a cultural icon.
