Yes. Fort Raleigh National Historic Site is located on the north end of Roanoke Island in Dare County, North Carolina.
It preserves the location of the 1585 and 1587 English settlement attempts sponsored by Sir Walter Raleigh—the famous "Lost Colony" where Virginia Dare, first English child born in the Americas, vanished with 115+ colonists by 1590.
The site includes a visitor center, reconstructed earthwork fort, the Waterside Theatre (home of The Lost Colony outdoor drama since 1937), and nature trails along the Croatan Sound.
