This restaurant does elegant brunches and dinners all year round but pulls out the stops for Easter. The massive afternoon buffet segues into an a la carte dinner menu. The ambiance is historical and elegant, with wooden pillars and white tablecloths and waiters in suits. Dress is formal. Since the dining room used to be a train station, it seats 500. Menu favorites include the seafood raw bar, salmon stuffed with bacon, jumbo lump crabmeat with bearnaise sauce, rack of lamb with mint jelly and bananas foster for dessert. But keep an eye out for Easter special dishes.

More intimate than some of the restaurants in hotels, Eleven offers what "The New York Times" calls, "a class act, from the leather and brocade banquettes to the soaring brick walls to the exquisite dinner fare." The establishment always serves brunch and dinner on Easter. Aside from the elegant surroundings, the staff offers creative dishes like tuna tartare with caper, shallot, dill, lemon aioli, American caviar or lamb with polenta, beans, sweet onions and mint. Desserts include vanilla orange crepes with ricotta, blackberry-peach salsa and blueberry ice cream.

If your Easter dinner is going to be a big one, consider doing it at a restaurant with banquet-size capacity like Willow. The restaurant can seat 300, but there are various smaller, more intimate rooms. Or you can sit outside on the deck. Dishes are American with an Asian twist, like braised pork belly served with jalapeno scented black beans, avocado mousse and miso caramel, or deep marinated and char-grilled pork medallions with a lemon-soy butter, lightly fried leeks and coconut scallion rice. There is also an extensive and creative cocktail menu. Dress is elegant casual.
