Korea Garden, in Pittsburgh's West Oakland district, is a 20-minute walk from Carnegie Mellon University. The restaurant has been in business for more than 30 years and serves Korean, Japanese and Korean-style Chinese food. Korean dishes on the menu include kimchi stew with pork, bibimbap (mixed rice with vegetables) and short ribs. Diners can also reserve karaoke party rooms.

Pocha Pocha, next to the 69th Street train terminal in Upper Darby, is open for dinner only. It specializes in Korean barbecue, cooked on a grill at the diners' tables, and the menu includes stews, seafood stir-fries and deep fried pork. Pocha Pocha has a full-service bar, seven karoake rooms and a private room that can accommodate 150 guests.
