Hyeholde Restaurant

• The Hyeholde Restaurant is in Moon Township, Pa., approximately 17 miles northwest of downtown Pittsburgh. The restaurant is inside a Tudor-style home built in 1930. The dining room area resembles the Great Hall of a castle with high ceilings set with exposed wood beams, a balcony area, stained glass windows and a large wood-burning fireplace. Tables are located in nooks throughout the two-floor dining room, allowing you to feel as if you are having a private dinner in a fairy tale castle. Request a table near the fireplace for added ambiance. The menu features wild game like elk with sour cherries in bourbon sauce, as well as beef, chicken, house-made pasta and a vegetarian dish of the season. A tasting menu is also available nightly. Tavern on the Hill Seafood & Steakhouse

• Tavern on the Hill Seafood & Steakhouse is on Howard Street in Enola, Pa., across the Susquehanna from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania's capital city. The restaurant has won the "International Award of Excellence" from the International Restaurant and Hospitality Rating Bureau and a variety of awards from the readers of "Harrisburg Magazine" for its overall dining experience and service. The candlelit dining room features large, cozy booths and dark wood, making for a romantic ambiance. Steaks are the specialty of the house at The Tavern on the Hill, and the majority of the meat is U.S.D.A. certified black Angus beef and then aged on-site for four to six weeks.
