Las Vegas, often referred to as "Sin City," is home to the renowned Las Vegas Strip, which consists of mega-resort casinos and amusement venues. The history of casinos on The Strip began in 1941 with the El Rancho Casino, Las Vegas' first casino resort, according to the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. The Bellagio fountains, located in front of the Bellagio Las Vegas Casino Resort, offer outdoor, complimentary water fountain exhibitions that are accompanied by classical, opera and Broadway show music. Shows occur every day of the week and are in half-hour segments during the afternoon and 15-minute intervals in the evening. During the weekdays, shows start at 3 p.m., and they start at noon during the weekend. Schedules vary depending on weather conditions.

Located by the Venetian Resort, Madame Tussaud's Las Vegas is a renowned wax museum that features figures of pop-culture celebrities, historical figures and sports stars. Some of the figures that are featured in this Las Vegas museum include Evel Knieval, Michael Jackson, John Wayne and Ben Franklin. On certain exhibits, visitors can take their photos with the wax figures, including Hugh Hefner and George Clooney. Madame Tussaud's opens at 10:00 a.m. every day of the year and charges $25 per ticket for adults. Children under six are admitted for free.

Gameworks Las Vegas, situated by the MGM Grand, is near the corner of The Strip and Tropicana Avenue and provides video game facilities, which include Guitar Hero, Fast and Furious racing and virtual bowling. Vintage arcade games, such as Pac Man and pinball machines, are also available. An on-site restaurant serves lunch and dinner, while the Glacier Bar offers desserts and frozen drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Admission to Gameworks is free and the attraction opens at 10:00 a.m. daily.

Forum Shops at Caesar's is a shopping center within the Caesar's Palace Resort that features over 160 shops, as well as 13 restaurants. High-end clothing retail stores at this shopping center include Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Versace and Burberry. Some of the upscale restaurants at Forum Shops includes BOA Steakhouse, The Palm Las Vegas and Trevi Italian Restaurant. Other attractions at this shopping center include a spiraling escalator, reflecting pool and replicas of the original Trevi and Triton fountains in Italy.
