Appalachian Mountains in NEW YORK and Pennsylvania?

The Appalachian Mountains do extend through New York and Pennsylvania. In New York, they run through the Catskill Mountains and the Allegheny Plateau, while in Pennsylvania they pass through the Laurel Highlands, Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians, and the Pocono Mountains.
