Measuring between 4 inches to a foot tall, Bermuda grass has an extensive root system that makes it drought tolerant and capable of fast reproduction. The blades measure between 1 and 4 inches long and are a grayish-green color. Grazing animals such as cows and sheep eat Bermuda grass.

Yellowish oval-shape fruit of the Jackelberry provides sustenance for many savanna dwellers, including wart hogs and parrots.
