Why is Mecca a forrbiden place?

Mecca is not a forbidden place, in fact it is the holiest city in Islam and is open to all Muslims. However, there are some restrictions in place for non-Muslims, who are not permitted to enter the city. This is due to the fact that Mecca is the site of the Kaaba, which is the most sacred site in Islam and is only open to Muslims.
