What are geographic features?

Geographic features are naturally occurring or human-made features that can be found on Earth's surface. They include mountains, valleys, rivers, lakes, oceans, deserts, forests, islands, and so on. These features can be classified according to their physical characteristics, such as elevation, relief, slope, and drainage patterns, or according to their human-made features, such as roads, buildings, and other infrastructure. Geographic features are essential for understanding the physical landscape of Earth and can be used to study the environment, the climate, and the interactions between humans and their surroundings.
