Rose Gardens in Jamaica

Jamaica is an island that is located south of Cuba. Jamaica is known for it's hot weather and beautiful scenery. Included in this scenery are several public gardens that are well-known for their beautiful roses. Three of the most popular rose gardens in Jamaica are located in the gardens at Ocho Rios, Hope Botanical and Bath Botanical.
  1. Ocho Rios

    • Ocho Rios, Jamaica, has acres of beautiful gardens, waterfalls and scenery. There is a stunning rose garden in Ocho Rios, along with other blooming tropical flowers. The garden is 25 acres in size and has many beautiful water falls.

    Hope Botanical Garden

    • Hope Botanical Garden has a long history, dating back to the 1880's. Plants such as cocoa, coffee, yams and bananas have been grown in this garden. Today, the garden is full of exotic plants, including a rose garden that lines its entrance. The garden is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Admission to the garden is free. The park also boasts a free-admission zoo.

    Bath Botanical Gardens

    • Bath Botanical Gardens is an exotic garden that has a lot of history behind it. This garden honors the history of Jamaica through its tropical plants and flowers. Several experimental plants have been cultivated here, and its greatest feature is its rose garden. The garden is 9 acres in size. There is also a rock garden in the park.
