Where in Georgia is the Piedmont?

The Piedmont region of Georgia is located in the northern part of the state. It stretches from the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in the northwest to the fall line, which marks the boundary between the Piedmont and the Atlantic Coastal Plain. The Piedmont region is characterized by its rolling hills, fertile valleys, and numerous rivers and streams.
