The Dominican Republic has a tropical climate, with average temperatures ranging from 25°C (77°F) to 30°C (86°F) throughout the year. The coolest months are January and February, when temperatures can drop to around 20°C (68°F) at night. However, it is rare for the temperature to drop below 15°C (59°F) in any part of the country.
