When was South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme created?

The South Asia Co-operative Environment Programme (SACEP) was established in 1982. It is an intergovernmental organization to promote, support and enhance regional co-operation on environment issues among the countries in the South Asia region. The member states of SACEP are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
