Did King Kamehameha rule all Hawaii islands?
King Kamehameha I, also known as Kamehameha the Great, did rule all the major Hawaiian islands during his reign from 1795 until his death in 1819. Through a series of military conquests and political alliances, Kamehameha brought the islands of Hawaii, Maui, Molokai, Lanai, Oahu, and Kauai under his control, establishing the Kingdom of Hawaii. However, it is important to note that some smaller and remote islands, such as Niihau and Kahoolawe, were not formally annexed by Kamehameha during his lifetime.
