Why does the Gulf of Mexico have one daily tide on northern coast Florida and two tides central south peninsula?

This is not true. The Gulf of Mexico has only two daily tides, they just happen at slightly different times across its different bodies of water. These tides are caused by the gravitational pull of the moon and the sun, and the shape of the Gulf of Mexico's coastline.
