The Florida Keys are a coral archipelago located off the southern coast of Florida. The islands stretch for about 120 miles (190 km) from Key Largo to Key West, and are divided into two groups: the Upper Keys and the Lower Keys. The Upper Keys are located closer to the mainland, while the Lower Keys are located farther out to sea.
The Florida Keys are a popular tourist destination, known for their beautiful beaches, clear waters, and abundant marine life. The islands are also home to a variety of historical sites, including the Ernest Hemingway House and the Key West Aquarium.
The southernmost point in the continental United States is located at Key West, Florida. Key West is also home to the Southernmost Point Buoy, a popular tourist attraction.
