Three Pillars

1. Tourism: Millions drawn by scenery, beaches, climate; drives hotels, dining, retail, entertainment.
2. Agriculture: Sugarcane, pineapple, bananas, papaya, coffee, macadamia nuts – local supply and exports.
3. Military: Pearl Harbor and other bases = major employer and economic engine in the Pacific.
