What is Pacific Power?

Pacific Power is an electric utility company operating in the Western United States. It is a subsidiary of PacifiCorp, which is, in turn, owned by Berkshire Hathaway Energy, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway. Pacific Power provides service to approximately 600,000 customers in Oregon, Washington, California, and Idaho. The company has a total generating capacity of over 2,500 megawatts, and its primary sources of generation are coal, natural gas, hydroelectric power, and wind power. Pacific Power is also involved in energy efficiency programs and renewable energy development.
