How much of the globe is occupied by Pacific Ocean?

Approximately 28% of the Earth's surface is covered by the Pacific Ocean. It is the largest ocean in the world and covers an area of around 165.2 million square kilometers (64.2 million square miles). The Pacific Ocean stretches from the Arctic Ocean in the north to the Southern Ocean in the south, and from the Asia-Australia region in the west to the Americas in the east.
