Tagaytay has a cooler climate with an average temperature lower than the usual temperatures in cities like Manila due to it being situated at a higher elevation in Tagaytay Ridge. Hence, making it popular for relaxation and leisure during the hot season or other periods, giving it the name "Summer Capital of the Philippines."
